Photographing along the same path as Audubon, Elrick will show her work of migrating birds in the watersheds where Audubon hunted and painted. Jon Naiman's portfolio Familiar Territory
"In the series Familiar Territory, farm animals and the people who keep them are photographed inside the family home. The unspoken boundary between the human and the animal is explored and brought into question. Taboos associated with cleanliness, propriety, order, safety come forward. The mundane mixes with the absurd. The objects, furniture, decorations, and architecture of these living rooms frame a moment in flux when two separate worlds come together. In previous times, across many cultures, farm animals were kept in the family home for warmth and safety. Though this is seldom now the case, it is not unheard of. "—Jon Naiman

Henry Horenstein: Show
"The noir-styled images in SHOW are variously amusing, sexy, and harsh - true reflections of the world they document. The book covers a myriad of burlesque-style performance, including drag, fetish, and sideshow. Horenstein says, 'these performers are today's version of the 'starving artist'-living on the margins and delivering their personal expression through song, dance, comedy, and narrative-charged sexually and often highly political."—the publisher

photo-eye Book Reviews
 from the book Sunshine Pulse
"The goal of Sunshine Pulse, as Aki Tanaka states, is to capture feelings of 'wavering between hope and anxiety.' Presented in a contemporary style - color images printed full-bleed and bound in a slick hardcover - Tanaka's photographs convey a deeply traditional message. Lustery images, tightly-framed in the smallness of the book, invite slow, close consideration of moments of sunlight as it passes through and around the petals of cherry blossoms." —From Nicholas Chiarella's review of Sunshine Pulse with photographs by Aki Tanaka

from the book Touchless Automatic Wonder
"Touchless Automatic Wonder: Found Text Photographs from the Real World revels in establishing unexpected connections between the written word and its surroundings. The book marks Lewis Koch's twenty-five-year search to extricate the thrill of hidden messages buried amid the chaos of our everyday visual landscape." —From Mary Goodwin's review of Touchless Automatic Wonder with photographs by Lewis Koch

from the book Kiki Smith: Photographs
"Cinematic sequences of Smith's visions and revisions are packaged into five symmetrical grids and woven through the critical findings of curator Elizabeth A. Brown in an adventurous journey through the artist's creative routine. But Brown's essay has been written so well and Smith's work presented so well, that it's hard to ignore a craving for the raw, unsaturated beauty of each fiber separately." —From Rena Silverman's review of Kiki Smith: Photographs with photographs by Kiki Smith
