Book of the Week: A Pick by Michael Itkoff
Another Happy Day by Jonah Samson

"Another Happy Day features a selection of images culled from Jonah Samson's collection of found photographs. Published in conjunction with an exhibition at the Presentation House Gallery, the limited-run book consists of expressive portraits and images of the natural world presented without text in a delicious sepia hue. The book's sequence riffs on formal and thematic associations that make it a real joy to explore." —Michael Itkoff

Sacrifice Your Body By Roe Ethridge

"When you crack the handsome, white leatherette spine of Sacrifice Your Body — emblazoned with an emerald font evocative of an Eighties horror movie poster — you would never imagine end pages suggestive of your grandmother's bucolic home. This jarring tension is taken to an extreme as the book unfolds." — from Allie Haeusslein's review of Sacrifice Your Body By Roe Ethridge

Dolce Via By Charles H. Traub

"Dolce Via by Charles Traub collects a series of color photographs taken in Italy during the 1980s, but is much more. While all older work maintains a certain seductive aura, it's rare that such work exudes a sense of contemporaneity and offers fresh insight. Brimming with life, humor and sensuous energy, Dolce Via is at once a celebration of Italy and a valuable social and cultural document, but it is also a joyous reflection of the pleasures and challenges of being a street photographer." — from Adam Bell's review of Dolce Via By Charles H. Traub

The exhibition is up in our Bookstore + Project Space, located at 376-A Garcia Street, Santa Fe NM, 87501, through June 6th, 2014.
