Infinity Awards New Stars, Legends Celebrated At ICP Infinity Awards
"The International Center of Photography lived up to its name this year, giving out its 19th annual Infinity awards to a diverse group of artists, photographers and scholars from Norway, England, Italy, Scotland, Germany and France. Though the biggest awards went to Bernd and Hilla Becher and Magnum photographer Marc Riboud, the unexpected star of the evening was not a photographer but Thi-Cng, a fashion designer/stylist/conceptual artist from Vietnam."—Jay DeFoore, PDN Online Read more

Thinh Le's new portfolio Hanoi Panoramas
"The rotational camera has radically changed my way of seeing, the decisive moment is now stretched and is intergrated into a larger and complete frame in which every detail in the circle of view is recorded (and of equal importance, no detail is excluded). Aside from capturing the spatial relationship of the subjects within the circle of view, I also attempt to introduce cinematic elements (temporal relationship) by overlapping the beginning and end of the exposure (allowing the camera to rotate and expose more than 360 degrees) to show that the scene has changed and is no longer the same."—Thinh Le   Read more

Joseph Mills: Inner City—Signed Joseph Mills: Inner City—Signed
"His subjects are not Washington's elite, but those whose situations in life are more peripheral and vulnerable: children, street prophets, the homeless and the mentally unstable. The resulting pictures are both about the inner city life he records and his own internal conflicts."—the publisher

Fruits was established in 1994, by photographer Shoichi Aoki, initially as a project to document the growing explosion in street fashion within the suburbs of Tokyo."the publisher

Candida Hfer: Candida Hfer
"Candida Hfer, born in 1944, documents public buildings and urban environments. An early Becher student, Hfer depicts them without their visitors, thus capturing the intensity and intimacy of human occupation by the very absence of people.
