Chronology

1945 Born, New York City

1968 Moved to Philadelphia and was exposed to the work of architect, Louis I. Kahn and first began to really think about how the volume of a space fills with light which transforms as it moves along.

1991 Began to spend a lot of time in East Blue Hill, Maine in a little cabin by the ocean. Began recording light and sky on water.

1997 My commitment to the process of developing series of images conveying a poetic narrative started with my work on The Night Sky.

1999 Teaching color printing as an assistant to Tom Petit brought my own printing to a whole new level.

2002 The review of The Night Sky in the Philadelphia Inquirer gave me a much- needed boost.

2003 Participated in Review Santa Fe, a wonderfully useful portfolio review.
