1968 Born, Lima, Peru
   
1994 Pick up copy of Truth Needs no Ally by Black Star Agency founder Howard Chapnick. Drop out of grad school in English. Join the Peace Corps. Dispatched to Outer Mongolia.
   
1996 Stuffed with mutton-fat I return to the DC area to begin interning at various newspapers eventually winding up at the DC Bureau of the New York Times.
   
1998 Stumble on shooting in U.S. Capitol, nominated with colleague Paul Hosefros for Pulitzer prize by NYT.
   
2003 Return to grad school, this time in Visual Communications to take time to work on long term projects. Begin Consumed.
   
2005 Attend Review Santa Fe on scholarship and meet new community of friends like Rachel Papo, Amy Stein, Shen Wei, Vanessa & Louviere, who inspire and assist.
