Chronology

1956 Born, Ann Arbor, MI

1980 Met Channing Peake, a California Abstract Expressionist painter who was a contemporary of Pablo Picasso. A strong friendship ensued and I began to cross over from technician to artist.

1983 Began working with Douglas Kirkland, Los Angeles and NY based photographer. Spent two years as his first assistant, traveling extensively and learning the world of one of the world's top photographers.

1985 Worked with Arnold Newman, famous portrait photographer, who encouraged me to continue working with enviromental portraiture.
