Horacio Fernández is a historian and a curator, living in Madrid. He is a teacher in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cuenca. He has been the curator of PhotoeEspaña from 2004 and 2006. Among his publications, Fotografía Pública (1999) and The Latin American Photobook (2011), both with exhibitions associated to them, the latest, an itinerant exhibition opening in Le Bal, Paris, next January. Currently preparing a project on Spanish photobooks for the Museo Reina Sofía de Madrid.
