A Girl and Her Room.
RANIA MATAR

Simple and very refreshing project that involves not only individual psychology but social and cultural reading of the most difficult time for young girls — their transition to womanhood.
The Wrong Side.
JÉRÔME SESSINI

The book is notable for it's informative reporting of a world that is certainly very difficult to access.
Dead Traffic.
KIM THUE

Uncensored, raw and disturbing black and white photography that shows the unveiled reality in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone.
Revolutions.
RÉMI OCHLIK

The greatest account so far of the Arab Spring in images from a photographer who paid the highest prize — his life.
Uncle Charlie.
MARC ASNIN

Photographing year after year the same person is very difficult. You start missing the provocation of the new and unusual. Asnin did not fall prey to this. Remarkable and intimate portraits by Marc Asnin.
Violentology.
STEPHEN FERRY

Powerful photographic essays and documentation of war in our times.
Harold Feinstein.
HAROLD FEINSTEIN

Decades before photojournalists were embedded with soldiers in Afghanistan, Feinstein was recording his experience serving as a soldier in the Korean War. Included in the book are also his iconic photographs from Coney Island. Simple black and white record of this time when photography's primary purpose was to document, not to comment. Just a pure pleasure of the well caught moment.
Malick Sidibe.
MALIK SIDIBE

The book is an incredible and silent gallery of portraits. The photographer's work is so perfect that he almost does not exist in his work. We stay in front of his portraits in the company of his subjects as old friends or strangers who get to know each other.
