Ron Jude & Danielle Mericle Ron Jude is a photographer and Co-founder of A-Jump Books. His work has been exhibited at venues such as the Photographers' Gallery in London, the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Roth/Horowitz Gallery in New York, San Francisco Camerawork, and Proekt_Fabrika in Moscow. He is the author of Alpine Star, which was the first title from A-Jump Books in 2006.

Other Nature, a collection of photographs from 2001-2007 was recently published by The Ice Plant. (Los Angeles.) Jude is represented by Gallery Luisotti in Santa Monica. His latest book project, emmett, will be published in late 2010 by The Ice Plant.


Danielle Mericle is a photographer, video artist, and Co-founder of A-Jump Books. Her photographs and videos have been exhibited at venues such as White Columns in New York City, Blue Sky Gallery in Portland, Arcadia University Art Gallery in Philadelphia, and the George Eastman House in Rochester, NY. Her work was recently exhibited in a survey of contemporary video art at The Columbus Museum, which included other artists such as Rodney Graham, Diana Thater, and Adam Frelin.

Mericle is the author of Seneca Ghosts, which was noted by Alec Soth as one of the top-10 photography books of 2008. Her current book project, entitled Archive, consists of photographs shot at various sites in Peru, and is a meditation on the complex relationship between history, knowledge, and power.
