Dreams are delicate and elusive. The bridges they form between themselves, one night to the next, are made of mist and drizzle. Nevertheless, they carry the weight of so much great art. Russell Joslin’s Series of Dreams certainly carries its fair share. From 2000 to 2017, Joslin published and edited Shots Magazine. Series of Dreams gathers in one volume a dizzying array of talent published in Shots during Joslin's tenure. Rarely have I come across an anthology so handsomely produced and brilliantly curated. I've flipped its pages hundreds of times already, and never once without a flutter of anticipation.
