Published in conjunction with a 1990 retrospective exhibit of the work of Mexican photographer Manuel Alvarez Bravo, this monograph spans seven decades of the artist's work. It includes some of his best known work (Good Reputation Sleeping, Striking Worker, Assassinated, and The Crouched Ones) as well as later, lesser-known pieces (as recent as 1986). A thought-provoking essay by Nissan N. Perez, printed in both Spanish and English, precedes the plates. A handsome book.

Limited edition of 99 signed and numbered hardbound copies with a tipped-in print on the front cover.
