For many years, artist William Wegman photographed his Weimaraner, Man Ray. This monograph reproduces the fruitful results of this collaboration--photographs that are humorous and inventive. Most of the original photographs were made on the Polaroid 20x24 color camera; the images are rich in both color and detail and well reproduced in this volume. Laurance Weider's introductory essay traces the evolution of this extended and highly unusual portrait.
