Abbeville Press, New York, 1983. 156 pp., 9x7".

The Chelsea Hotel stands as a landmark in the recent history of artists, writers and musicians. The hotel has served as residence at various times for people such as Bob Dylan, O. Henry, Dylan Thomas, and Sid Vicious. Today it still serves as residence for a variety of artists and eccentrics in New York. In this monograph, Claudio Edinger, also a resident of the Chelsea, offers his view of his friends and neighbors. Reminiscences by former residents--Viva, Clifford Irving, and William Burroughs, among others--are included.
