Publisher's Description
Michael Max McLeod walked away from his career as a designer in the
dotcom industry (RollingStone.com, Playboy) to study photography.
Subsequently, his work gravitates to the relationship between sexuality
and technology. In Casual Encounters, McLeod photographs the men he
meets on sex and dating websites. McLeod says, 'When I moved to Phoenix,
I discovered a world of online dating. Eventually, I gave up looking for
mister right and started photographing anyone who would let me.' In each
issue, a micro docu-dramedy unfolds - the result of an improvised
performance between camera, photographer and the photographed. Homemade
on a color laser printer, every copy is stamped, numbered and initialed.
First edition of 200.
