He Had a Hat is an artist's book in which personal hidden memories resurface through the story of a fictional character.

The texts are excerpts from the stories of Samuel Beckett “The Expelled”, “First Love” and the novel “Molloy”, in English and Russian. For this edition, the cover will be in two colors: navy blue with gray lace or black with green lace. The binding will be done with either gray or green thread. The book is hand-constructed using two different types of up-cycled Favini paper: gray-white melange and pearlescent shade. There are also some inserts with Silver surfaces.

The book is hand-sewed with cutouts on the cover and endpaper and includes an inkjet print, a postcard, and lace that can be used for a hat.
