My Dad, an amateur photographer, taught me darkroom fundamentals.

1979
|
Began photo documentary project on the work of Bread & Roses, a non-profit organization that provides free, live entertainment in institutions.
|
|
|
1982
|
Began "Men and Masculinity: an Exploration of Manhood", an introspective photo documentary project.
|
|
|
1988
|
Studied with photographer Michelle Vignes whose support, encouragement, and critical eye continue to sustain me.
|
|
|
1992
|
Began working as a volunteer docent at the Friends of Photography Museum in San Francisco.
|
|
|
1993
|
Began photographing "Treehouses, Hideouts and Forts: the Special Places of Childhood".
|
|
|
1995
|
Began photographing "Liberty at Large: Replicas of Statues of Liberty around the World."
|
|
|
2002
|
Exhibited and lectured at Encuentros Abiertos de Fotografia, an international photography festival in Buenos Aires.
|
|
|
2004
|
Exhibited and lectured a second time at the biannual Encuentros Abiertos de Fotografia.
