1969
|
Born, Seattle (moved to San Diego at 3 months)
|

1984
|
Helped rebuild the abandoned darkroom in gym of Catholic high school. I became the school photographer.
|
|
|
1990
|
I abandoned photography for two years, studed literature in college, then moved to Spain to teach English and become a photographer.
|
|
|
1993
|
Moved to San Franciso and started working as an intern at The Friends of Photography.
|
|
|
1995
|
Assisted Michael Light and worked as black and white printer in custom lab.
|
|
|
1996
|
Began working at SF Camerawork as Program/Education Coordinator. Developed youth education and mentoring program called "First Exposures: Youth Opportunities through Photography."
|
|
|
2000
|
Quit working at SF Camerawork and began career as full time photographer.
